Bri Robbins

Hi, I’m Bri Robbins! I live in Salt Lake City, and have been married to my husband Jan for five years. I have a love for all things creative, Harry Potter, Grey’s Anatomy, animals, my tiny dog Moose, HGTV, cat videos, and fast food.

Film is something I’ve been passionate about since I was really young. My parents eventually caved and bought me my own video camera when I was nine because I kept stealing the family camera. In 2013 I quit my job to chase my dream of filming full-time and never looked back! Working in weddings can be a bit of a roller coaster, and I know this sounds super cliche, but I truly wouldn’t trade it for anything. I try to never let myself get too comfortable, and constantly push myself creatively so I can give something unique to our couples that fits them and their day. I consider it a privilege to be a part of people’s wedding days, and will probably tear up a little (or a lot) when you drive away from the reception and it’s all over.

Chloé Allen

Hi there! I am a proud bunny mom and treat him like one of my own.  I firmly believe that a healthy dose of trashy television and a handful of donuts can cure just about anything. I have an old soul and I am a couch cover away from being mistaken for any one of your grandmas. My love language is food and “feeding the village” is currently my favorite hobby. Since I can remember I was waddling around stealing my parents’ camera trying to get the perfect shot of someone half-way blinking. Since my toddler days, things have changed quite a bit. I started specializing in weddings in 2012, and I could not imagine doing anything else. You’re potentially inviting us to be a part of your family for your wedding day. I am honored and I don’t take this lightly, bringing your love story together piece-by-piece will forever be my passion.

FAQ

Our most frequently asked questions (mostly by our moms/pets):

How did you guys meet?

One fateful day, the stars aligned and we were able to shoot a wedding together. Chloé was tearing it up on photo like the Michael Phelps of DSLRs, and Bri was being a total unicorn wizard on video. Our visions were similar, our goals were the same, and we bonded over the concerning number of times we both frequent our local McDonald’s each week. A few all-nighters, a whirlwind road trip, and roughly 7,000 chicken nuggets later, the idea to merge our businesses was born.

What’s “The Copper”?

We wish we had a better answer than “we were sending each other 18 text messages at a time with name ideas and then someone said “Copper” and it was 2 am and we both widened our eyes in approval and there was no turning back”, but we don’t. That’s how it happened.

So are you just doing video then? Or photo only?

Everything on your end will stay exactly the same, besides seeing a whole lot more of both of us. Just because you book photo with us does not mean you have to book video, and vice versa. We firmly believe that two is better than one, and that we will be able to make sure we spoil our brides to a whole other level.

Who will be shooting my wedding?

Us. Always us. If you book us for both photo and video, we have additional shooters personally trained by us and ready to rock and roll with cameras in tow.

How much time do you guys spend together?

We are one hour away from adding a designated drawer in our dressers for one another.

If your business is The Copper Creative, why is your logo gold?

You can’t just ask people why they’re gold.
